79. Deacon Eleazar WHITMAN.[4] Born in 1716. Eleazar died on 31 May 1807, he was 91.
A respected husbandman, he wass rigidly Calvinistic and was chosen deacon of the 1st Congregational Church Society of Abington. The early services of this church were held at his house until a building could be erected. His industry helped him to acquire a handsome estate.
Eleazar married Abigail ALDEN[4], daughter of Daniel ALDEN. Born in 1721. Abigail died on 26 Apr 1814, she was 93.
They had the following children:
80. Benjamin WHITMAN.[4] Born in 1719.
