| He had his father's dwelling house and the southwesterly part of the homestead. He was extensively engaged in the manufacture of shoes. For some years before his death, he contemplated moving to Cornwall, CT and had purchased a farm there at which he would spend some time on occasion, preparing it for his family's residence. However, a pulmonary consumption terminated his career before he was thirty years old. |
