Among the lists of Revolutionary soldiers are found the names of Jonathan and Jonathan JR., unless there is an error in the enrollment. Jonathan Sr. served in Capt. Orr's Company of minutemen on the occasion of the "alarm of April 15, 1775". He died Oct 31, 1778.
